Our Environment

Hello! Last week our topic was "Environment and Environmental Pollution". We started our topic talking about our environment and what we should do and shouldn't do to keep it clean. We listened to many songs and stories in order to support our theme.

"Planet Earth"

This story helped us to understand the importance of keeping our environment clean.. We saw what happened to our environment when people dropped their litter and didn't care about it. 

"Keep it clean" 

It was such an amusing song that we danced together and the dolphin told us what we should do and he said that he needed some help from his friends. "Together we can do it, let's keep it clean"

We learnt number six by counting plastic covers. We have collected plastic covers for a social project. Berkay's mum, Seçil Hanım started it when she came for parent participation. We thank her.

Stations
This station was about cleaning our environment and creating a better world. The environment wasn't clean because people threw their litter, they didn't use garbage bag. There was smoke coming out of factory's chimney and the sea was polluted too. So we started our work by collecting litter then we planted seeds and flowers and we put a windmill in order to get energy from wind.Kids loved this activity.

                   

In this station first they went out and observed the environment. Then they drew what they see around. 

We played an online game "Clean and green". We tried to tidy up and clean the room by grouping the trash. 

"What is it?"
"A bottle."
"So we should trow it into the blue box."

1,2,3 It is time to race... Let's see who is going to throw more caps into the box :)

We played a game together. First we're divided into two groups and we tried to throw as many plastic caps as possible.

                                                                     Woow, basket :)

                                     And the winner is Group A :))
